Hispanic Cross-cultural Ministry, Belize

Target: £2,700/ €3,070 | Project 476
Supporting Hispanic congregations and bringing them into the life of the church
The civil wars in Nicaragua, Guatemala and El Salvador led refugees to settle in the west of Belize. These rural communities are at a distance from the coastal areas, where the Anglican Church has been based historically.
The Diocese of Belize is currently establishing new missionary congregations throughout the diocese, including congregations among the Hispanic communities.
The church is concerned to provide a central place of worship that the Hispanic congregations can call their own.
