Rural Education in South India

Target: £1,740/€2,000 | Project 501

Providing rural children with education

East Kerala Diocese is a beautiful region, with mountains, valleys, rivers and evergreen forests. It is home to many tribal peoples – indigenous communities whose traditional way of life is under threat as ancestral lands are bought up by agricultural corporations.

To support tribal communities, East Kerala Diocese is providing eight lower primary schools and five upper primary schools. This Project will support much-needed renovations to nine of these schools.
