Dr Susannah Woodd’s responsibilities in Malawi are both large and varied.
She works in two hospitals (St Luke’s Hospital in Malosa and St Martin’s Hospital in Malindi), as well as eight health centres over 160 miles apart, see Project 282.

Healthcare in Malawi is suffering due to a severe lack of financial support with the result that hospitals are often understaffed, under resourced or in desperate need of maintenance.
