Looking after vulnerable children

St Hilda’s Hostel, situated in Ahmednagar run by the Diocese of Nasik, has been supporting oppressed and economically impoverished children, including orphaned children, since 1950.

St Hilda’s typically accommodates around 110 children. The children are provided with accommodation, education and home-cooked meals, and they are able to take part in Christian devotions.

Santhosh Hivarale, a hostel student, said: ‘At the hostel we get to work, play and pray and we hope for a better future, better than what our parents had.
