Agricultural Development, Pakistan

Target: £4,670/€5,370 | Project 452
Training for farming communities in the Diocese of Faisalabad
Faisalabad is one of the most culturally and spiritually diverse cities in Pakistan. Agriculture is the main source of employment in the local community, with coconut plantations and vegetable cultivation providing a livelihood for most of the local population.
Unfortunately, a large part of the community is living in poverty, and working in unhygienic conditions. Education is also scarce for many resulting in poor development and basic methods of cultivation that produce meagre crops and inconsistent harvests.
