Schools and Hostels in Madagascar

Target: £12,010 / €16,010 | Project 404
Giving marginalised children the chance of an education
Many families in Madagascar struggle to feed their children, let alone send them to school. For orphaned or disabled children, life is even harder. Access to good education means a greater chance of getting a paid job in the future.
However, schooling comes at a price, and for many of the poorest families the chance of affording an education looks remote.
With the help of USPG, the church in Madagascar is running hostels where accommodation, school fees, books and pencils, uniforms and medical care are all provided.
